Hey ya'll!
It's time again for what not to do, and this time I'm coming at myself. Yes, no one is exempt from what not to do! So recently I've been praying and God has placed it on my heart that I should start looking for a potential mate (you know to avoid a fate filled with cats), so I've been out and about trying to talk to guys. To say the least it has been interesting and now I present a list of things that I did that you shouldn't.
1. Notice when a guy is flirting with you. This makes things a lot simpler. Don't be several drinks in and not pick up the signals until half an hour later, only to find that the guy has thought he's been shot down and has taken his leave.
2. Don't let your friend put you on a guy and then refuse to talk to him for hours. For then, although the guy may be interested he, of course, just happens to be the dj at this event and you'll have to leave before you can exchange numbers.
3. Don't run out on a perfectly good conversation. Don't say a sentence, giggle like a school-girl, then scurry out like a church mouse. Not a good look, not a good look at all.
4. When you've been rejected by a guy: A. Try to avoid going to the place where he works. B. If that can't be avoided (I'm just not going to give up eating pizza!) don't run out of the place pretending to take an urgent phone call. It was like one in the morning, I was fooling nobody.
I'm sure that these are not the only blunders that I have made, but they are the only ones I can think of! So please, learn from my mistakes and do better. I know you can!
