Pandemic Posts - September 2020

 Hello all! 

It's that time again! Once again, I truly can't remember what I was doing in September of last year. It doesn't look like too much, because you know, pandemic. 

Sister, Sister came out on Netflix, so I was definitely spending a lot of time in the house! 

Of course I had to attend the all black read through of Friends! 

 

And then I had to stay home and fix my shelf! Which honestly didn't really get fixed until like months later. 

Luckily, I had managed to steal some very important Chicago Cares property to help me with shelf fixing! 

But, I did manage to get out and about a little bit! 

Chance In Hell snoballs!

Being black was both brutal and beautiful, per usual. 

My friend got published! 

And I got to celebrate from afar two of my absolute favorite people's in this universe birthdays! 

And, of course, the memes were fire!

So, in its own unique pandemic way, September was actually a very full month for me : ) I can't wait to see what I was doing in October of last year. Perhaps celebrating a birthday? I won't keep you in suspense, I was definitely celebrating my birthday!

Pandemic Posts - July 2020

 Hello again! 

We have made it to July! I'm hoping that I can crank August and September and finally be caught up to the actual month that we are in. Pray for me y'all lol! 

So, what was going on in July? Well, I finally got a chance to go home and get all my stuff! That was a nerve-wrecking trip, since it was the first time that I had traveled on a plane during the pandemic. And while at home it was a comedy (was it though?!) of errors trying to get a hitch on Liz's car. 

Shout-out to her for letting me use it though, because definitely wouldn't have been able to bring anything back without renting a little U-Haul. 

While at home, I got to celebrate the one and only Angel's birthday and she's just getting so big now! I know that I am getting older, but when I see my nieces and nephew age and grow every year, it really starts to hit home. I was beyond excited that I got to be there and celebrate with everyone though. It was a lovely and sort/kind of was a little normal. 

As I was going through boxes upon boxes of stuff, I did stumble upon some gems:

Pandemic Posts - June 2020 part duex

 Hello again!

I felt that June needed two posts, I felt like the Black Lives Matter deserved its own personal space. So, in between crying and holding space in June, I did other things as well! 

There were celebrations:
