Pandemic Posts - October 2020

 Oh hello everyone!

Not me having this in the drafts for forever! I guess it is beyond time for me to release it to the world! Truly can't believe I am still processing the first year of this pandemic. Who would have even thought?!

But, we just got a couple more months and then, maybe I'll do a 2021 year in review? Who knows, the possibilities are endless. Actually, just two, either I'm going to do it or not, lol!

Anywho, moving right along to October of 2020, my first birthday in the pandemic. What a time! I was very anxious about going out for my birthday, but still managed to have a great time with the pandemic pod!

Of course, I share a birthday month with two of my favorite people Shan and Tyler!

Other activities in October included:

Lots of walks around the neighborhoods

Big life celebrations! New jobs, new pets, new friends visiting!

I had to dress up for some Zoom event!

My loft bed finally being finished!

It's beautiful and perfect and I still love it so much!

Some great mail!

And, of course, Halloween!!

I got to go the one of the greatest Halloween house parties ever!

Oh, and I just casually survived a Hurricane Zeta! A category 2 (almost 3!) hurricane! So, when it first was going to hit, it was just a tropical storm, so I decided to stay at my place instead of going over to my aunt and uncle's. And then it escalated real quickly! Literally was sitting in my apartment and kept hearing reports of it moving up in categories.

By the time it got to the eye of the storm, I was shell-shocked to say the least. I went outside to say hello to my neighbors and then we had to wait out the tail end of the storm, which thankfully wasn't that bad. My apartment stood the test of time, I only had one window that leaked a little.

My uncle of course, blamed me for the storm being so bad. Saying if I came over like I had all the other times it wouldn't have been that bad lol! I guess we will never know!

It came through on a Wednesday and I didn't get power back until that Saturday, which just happened to be Halloween. Man, I thought this storm was bad, I was very unprepared for what was coming in a couple of years!

And, of course, the memes were fire!

Ok, just two more posts about 2020 and I'll be done! Who wants to take bets about how long it will take me to finish up those? Until next time!
